I'm back!

Ok so first of I would like to say sorry for not updating the blog in a while, I had to go out of town to attend to some family affairs.  On to the good stuff...so right before I left we had our yard sale.  It was a big hit, that added over $400 to our budget!!! Yay!!  I would like to take a second and thank all those who supported, attended, worked or just prayed about our yard sale, we couldn't have done it without you.  We have also had some donations come in while I was gone as well. So right now it still seems that we will be going in December. I would like to wrap up my post with one of my favorite bible verses:  Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Caleb Ricker

Hey My name is Caleb Ricker and I'm 20 years old.  I work with my brother as a builder. this will be my second time going to Honduras and God willing my Dad will becoming with us in December, the last time I went the Lord really changed my heart and He showed me through my Brothers and Sisters from Maine and from Honduras what it was like to be a servant and a disciple of Christ And has been teaching me ever since. It's a honor and a blessing to serve with these people. God bless

Peter Ricker

My name is Peter Ricker. I have 6 children and 4 grandchildren. I have been married for 29 years. God has certainly blessed. I am an electrical contractor by trade, and have worked in construction since I was in high school.  I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was 7 years old. Since then I have been a prodigal many times, and my Heavenly Father has always been faithful to forgive me and restore me. He is merciful. To be honest, I would have to say that I have really wasted alot of time serving my self. I am so thankful that God loves me, not based on my performance, but unconditionally. It is true that there is no greater joy than to know that your children walk with God. Last year my son Caleb went on the missions trip to Honduras, and God did a work in his life, and as a result really did a work in our family.I look forward to serving Christ this year in Honduras if it is His will, and feel privileged to do so.
 Sincerely, Peter Ricker
